The Chariot to perform BledFest 2011 in Howell, MI

Georgia’s THE CHARIOT recently announced that they will appear at this year’s BLED FEST 2011. New details about the festival have just been released! The 7th annual BLED FEST will take place on Saturday, May 28th with doors opening at 11:30am. BLED FEST is held at the Hartland Performing Arts Center in Howell, Michigan. Other bands performing at the fest include Every Time I Die, Norma Jean, I Am The Avalanche, La Dispute, Eisley, Defeater, This Is Hell, After The Burial, and many more. This year’s BLED FEST features a staggering 71 bands on six stages.

Ticket prices for this year’s fest are $18 in advance/$22 day-of-show and BLED FEST is an all ages event! Tickets can be purchased online with no service fees at BledFest.com, and in person with cash at Discs and Tapes in Howell, Hartland Community Education, Music Manor in Lansing, Flat Black and Circular in East Lansing, and Vertigo Music in Grand Rapids. VIP ticket packages are also available exclusively online at BledFest.com. VIP packages include an exclusively designed T-shirt or hooded sweatshirt, a screen-printed event poster, and a drawstring backpack.

THE CHARIOT recently announced that they will be joining this year’s SCREAM THE PRAYER TOUR, also featuring Norma Jean, Sleeping Giant, War Of Ages, Close Your Eyes, Texas In July, I The Breather, The Great Commission, As Hell Retreats, and Sovereign Strength. Tour dates have not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates on shows in your area! The band also recently announced a brief upcoming run through Ontario, Canada with Every Time I Die and The Fucking Hotlights. The tour begins in Ottawa, ON on May 23rd and runs through May 28th in Howell, MI for Bled Fest 2011. See below for all upcoming tour dates.

THE CHARIOT released their most recent album Long Live on GOOD FIGHT MUSIC on November 22nd, 2010. Long Live is the band’s fourth full-length album to date.
